Fin dall’uscita di Piano Tales, il suo primo album in piano solo, Enrico Zanisi ha cercato di sviluppare l’idea originaria alla base della sua intima e personale formula di concerto: un contenitore di possibilità, di storie musicali che possono prendere ogni volta forme diverse, elaborate a partire da un materiale sonoro in continua evoluzione. Brani originali, standard e improvvisazioni libere possono coesistere all’interno di un evento che, all’insegna dell’estemporaneità, vuole mirare ad una narrazione musicale che fa del contenuto espressivo la sua propria struttura.
Morricone realizzava i suoi capolavori selezionando ogni singolo musicista, autentici fuoriclasse, e alcuni di loro hanno avuto il privilegio di essere sempre al suo fianco. Sono proprio Gilda Buttà e Luca Pincini i testimoni di questa lunga collaborazione con il compositore, avendo avuto in dono una cartella autografa di composizioni per violoncello e pianoforte scritte da Morricone stesso. In concerto una selezione dai suoi più celebri film tra cui Il Pianista sull’Oceano, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, nonché di tanti film western di Sergio Leone, e tanti altri.
